Craftiness

Yes.  I did it.  I finally made, from start to finish, my first project of the year.  Yay me! I did this "Oh so cute" picture frame from Pinterest that has a space to write on the glass. 


To begin, I rummaged through our boxes of picture frames and found this not so good looking picture frame.

I took the picture out and cleaned up the glass and painted the frame black.  

So much better.  i love the rope around the frame.  It gave it a little extra something.  Yeah, I can't think of a great word to go here.  Anyway,  I took some scrapbook paper and cut it to fit the frame.  I used my borrowed cricut and cut out "I love you because" and glued it to the paper.

I drew a line below the words and added a few embellishments to make it even cuter.

Put everything back together.  Make sure you clean the glass well.  You don't want there to be any streaks and spots showing.  

Sorry.  My dry erase marker wasn't working very well at the time but, you get the drift.  I have since hung it on the wall and my hubby and I have exchanged a few lines.  Yes, he wrote on it, too.  I love doing things like this that everyone can enjoy.  Until next time.
