More on Gardening

I've been out working in the yard this evening. I've planted two cucumber plants and a tomato plant. That's about all I had time to do today. I'm hoping to plant some day lilies and snap dragons tomorrow. I have the perfect place for them.

Alex and I have been getting an average of two strawberries a day off of my plants.

I have also discovered that I have a little inhabitant in my garden. So far she hasn't been eating my strawberries. We'll see how long that lasts. I still think she's pretty though.

New Hobby

Ok. So I've been dormant for a while. Alex and I have been very busy. We have new projects. Along with the baseball practice, we have planted some strawberry plants. We worked in the yard this past Sunday. Alex helped me dig holes for our strawberries. He found 2 snails and an earthworm. He really was helpful. He did however try to dig up a couple of my plants but, Mommy stopped him just in time. He raked and swept the yard and helped me water all the plants. As of today we have 3 strawberries ready to pick. I have to wait until Alex gets home tomorrow. Here are a few pictures of our accomplishments.
This is a pic of our strawberries

Sleepy Baby

I know it's been a while since I have posted. Sorry. My bad.

Well, we've been a busy bunch. Party for 4th of July, swimming, visiting family out of town . . . On the go all the time. Alex is getting around a lot better now. He's so sure on his feet. He's getting faster than Mommy. I have many days when I have to chase him down. He's playing Baseball, Golf, and Bowling. He loves anything that has to do with a ball.

This is him running around in his diaper and a pair of boots throwing a ball around and chasing it.

When we took him to the fireworks show in Greer, he didn't react how I expected. He wanted to hide in the car. We finally got him to look out the window.

Tonight we ate spaghetti while watching Rachel Ray. Alex wolfed down his food and played in his highchair until daddy and I finished our food. We noticed that he was quiet. When I looked over at him this is what I saw....

He had completely knocked out. We hated to wake him up but, he needed a bath after all that spaghetti.

First Baseball Game

We took a family trip Tueaday night to Alex's first baseball game. He fell asleep on the way to the game. We woke him up just in tome to ride the trolley.

On the way in the gate he was more interested in what was happening on the field. He kept saying bayball, bayball (baseball)...

He was an agle during the game. The only problem was that he absolutely did not like the frog. He was basically crawling over us to get away the frog.

Late Easter

We had a late Easter/Birthday Party at my in-law's Sunday. Of course Alex was everywhere. He's such a social little thing. He loves everyone.

We had a little Easter Egg hunt after dinner. Alex went around saying "ball ball" and pick up an egg and throw it as hard as he could. I'm so glad they were plastic eggs.

He got better at just putting the eggs in the basket.

As people were leaving, he would yell out "BYE" "Bye Bye" and wave his little hand. He played so hard that he fell asleep on the way home.

Lilli's Birthday Party

We went out of town for Easter weekend. My niece's Birthday Party was at Swan Lake that Saturday. There were bubbles, ducks, swans, and turtles. Alex had the best time!

He was a little scared of the Swans but tried to chase the ducks. The picture above was a tree that was covered in Turtles that were sunning.

Mountain Trip

We went to Blue Ridge Georgia for Grandpa's Birthday. The trip up was a nightmare. It took us over 3 hours to get there through the rain, fog and curvy roads. I was very car sick for the last hour or so and Alex slept up until the last 30 minutes. After we got there, we had a good time. Alex ran around the cabin and had the bottom 3 steps of the stairs as his personal seat/table.

We went to ride the train in Blue ridge the next morning. The weather was cold and damp but, we had a wonderful time. Alex and Mommy had a new experience together. Neither one of us had ever been on a train. We all had the best time!

After the train trip, we just went back to the cabin and chilled for a while. Alex ran around in just a diaper for a while.

Then he had to have his picture taken with Mommy.

Then it was bed time. Time for Super Baby!!!

We left the next morning. Thankfully the weather had cleared a little and the ride home didn't take nearly as long.
